Chainlink CCIP Expands to Solana, Now Supports 46+ Chains

Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) has added Solana support, making it the first non-EVM chain to feature CCIP’s v1.6 upgrade. The expansion unlocks access to over $19 billion in assets through projects leveraging the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard.

Enterprise-Grade Certification

Chainlink achieved ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type 1 attestation, with audits performed by Deloitte & Touche LLP. The certification covers Data Feeds and CCIP, validating Chainlink as enterprise-grade infrastructure suitable for institutional use.

Major Institutional Adoption

The past year saw landmark integrations. Coinbase selected CCIP as exclusive bridge infrastructure for all Coinbase Wrapped Assets including cbBTC, cbETH, and others with approximately $7 billion aggregate market cap.

Lido upgraded to CCIP as official cross-chain infrastructure for wstETH across all chains. Maple Finance’s syrupUSDC cross-chain deposits have surpassed $3 billion using the CCT standard.

Swift Banking Trial

Swift completed an interoperability trial with BNP Paribas, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Société Générale’s SG-FORGE using Chainlink to settle tokenized bonds across blockchain and traditional systems. The trial covered delivery-versus-payment workflows and bond lifecycle events.

Technical Releases

Late 2025 releases included Node v2.31.0 optimizing performance, CRE Launch providing cross-chain smart contract orchestration with compliance features, and Confidential Compute introducing privacy-focused decentralized secret management.

Network Growth

CCIP now supports 46+ blockchains including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Hedera, Sonic, and World Chain. The Chainlink ecosystem has grown to over 2,400 integrated projects.
